Eagle’s Nests
An Eagle’s nest resembles a large pile of sticks lodged in the top of a tree.
An older nest like this one is easy to spot because of the size.
A newer nest, which was started just this spring, like the one at the top left of the picture is harder to spot.
If you look closely you can see one of the eaglets sitting on the nest. There are two eaglets on this nest but there only seems to be one adult.
The eaglets won’t get their distinctive white heads and tails until they are about three to five years of age.
When they will look like the proud parent…
