Hiking in Governor Dodge

Governor Dodge 006

The trails in Governor Dodge State Park are clearly marked and vary in difficulty from novice to advanced.

In these photos I’m hiking the White Oak trail over to Pine Bluff in the center of the photo.

With plenty of pretty views along White Oak trail it makes for a peaceful hike.

This is the trail that takes you onto Pine Bluff.  Governor Dodge has plenty of cliffs like these if you like scrambling, though the DNR frowns on the hobby.

On top of Pine Bluff looking back down the trail.

Pine Bluff.  A peaceful place for a picnic or just to rest for awhile.

This trail is well cared for and an easy hike for advanced hikers and not too difficult for the occasional hiker.

The steps were built during the thirties and well maintained by the DNR.

This trail ends at Enee Point, though you can follow the park road back to the beginning.
