Canadian Geese

The Beaver and Muskrat habitat also serves as a rookery for Canadian Geese which have begun staking claims, pairing up and preparing to lay eggs.  While these geese wait for their eggs to hatch and their young to grow old enough to fly, they won’t stray from this area, which will give me ample time to take photos of them.  I’m certain the deer appreciate the break from me chasing them around the park for pictures.

This goose was very vocal when I approached not liking my being there one bit.

While these two took a leisurely stroll on the beach not seeming to mind my being there at all.
