White-tailed Deer: Grazing

The weather turned warm and the deer seemed more intent on grazing than on being afraid of the human with the camera.  This doe walked up to within ten feet of me last spring.  It seems that with the warmer weather and abundant food they’re less jumpy.

Though my appearance definitely had an effect at first.

She cautiously eyed me and then decided to continue grazing.

Which seemed the overriding concern that day.

Albeit, somewhat cautiously as I walked near them.
