Sandhill Crane and a Red-winged Blackbird

A Sandhill Crane landed near a Red-winged Blackbird in the Beaver habitat.  The goose, which is out of frame, sounded off in displeasure.  It either didn’t like the crane being there or it didn’t like my being there.

While the crane foraged for food, the blackbird stayed perched on its cattail.

The crane walked over to it and they seemed to share the same view of the marsh for awhile.

Then the crane continued to forage and the blackbird eventually flew away.
