Female Red-Winged Blackbird

The new shot location offers several places to shoot from.  Last night I returned to the spot where I encountered the Eagle.  I had lowered expectations for the evening shoot because I expected more fishermen out on the lake.  Several boats drifted around on the lake and the larger birds stayed away.  I spotted an Eagle flying across the lake on several occasions, but it did not fly anywhere near me.  I settled for shooting the smaller marsh birds like this female Red-winger Blackbird.  She didn’t seem too bothered by my being there, so I took her photo and sat like Linus waiting for the “Great Pumpkin” for the Eagles to show.
