Copper Falls State Park

Copper Falls State Park, in northern Wisconsin, has been preserved by the state because of its waterfalls.

One of three waterfalls in the park, the coppery colored water is why it became known as Copper Falls.

Brownstone Falls is the largest of the three and next on the scenic 1.7 mile hike around the waterfalls area.

I was there on a Saturday and lots of people enjoyed the hike around the falls.

The trail around the waterfall concludes with a bridge that crosses the river allowing you a view of the third waterfall, known as Tyler Falls.
